CEO of the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) and Chair of the World Plumbing Council: Shayne La Combre - 'World Plumbing Council & 12th Triennial World Plumbing Conference here in Melbourne'


Shayne La Combre is CEO of the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre (PICAC) and Chair of the World Plumbing Council for the 2016 – 2019 term. Shayne will join us to speak about the World Plumbing Council, its activities and its members, and the upcoming 12th triennial World Plumbing Conference. The conference, WPC 2019, is being held this September right here in Melbourne and promises to be a great opportunity to connect with colleagues, national and international.


AHSCA (VIC) President: Ross Weight - 'AHSCA Update'


Ross Weight, President of AHSCA (VIC) Chapter will provide an update regarding the continued support of our association for the AHSCA Research Foundation in response to the proposal by AHSCA (NSW) for an alternative national association. Details will be provided relating to the recently launched AHSCA National body.


Technical Speakers: Geberit & Reece - 'Geberit Supertube Sanitary Drainage System'

   

As part of Geberit's world wide release, Marc Williams - Southern Region Sales Engineer will be presenting on the new Geberit Supertube Sanitary Drainage System. A revolution in drainage design that allows true single pipe multi-storey stack work with real reductions in ceiling and floor space requirements.


Technical Speaker: Halgan & SpecRep Services – ‘Developing High Quality & Innovative Products for Trade Waste’

  

Ian Hansen of Halgan Pty Ltd will be presenting on how Halgan have achieved AS-NZS 1546.1 Certification for the MGTS™ Series grease traps and pre-treatment vessels through undertaking rigorous modeling tests. These include Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Certification Testing (AS1546), and material research. Ian will introduce you to the systems Halgan use including creep factors and tensile material strengths.
