AHSCA (Victorian Chapter) general meeting dates for the current year are listed below complete with presentation details as they are known to date, we would ask that members register their attendance online to assist with catering and seat allocation. For non-members who may wish to attend please contact the President or Secretary to organise an invitation. Notification of upcoming general meetings are automatically emailed to association members in the lead up to the event.

In addition to general meetings we shall also endeavor to list as many upcoming industry events relative to the hydraulic services discipline as possible with a view to providing a central location for our members to visit and use in planning their continuing professional development as required. Currently automated email notifications of upcoming events is limited to general meetings only.

    Speaker: Jordan Mills & Jonathan Mousdell – ‘H2X Engineering’


    Jordan & Jonathan are the Co-Founders for H2X Engineering and will be providing a presentation on H2X (www.H2Xengineering.com) a revolutionary hydraulic design tool that automates calculations and integrates with Revit to automatically generate a 3D model. This presentation will describe the benefits of using H2X and also give a demonstration of how the software works.


    Speaker: Maurice Sims – ‘Servicing Requirements Assessment’


    Maurice is the Senior Land Development Officer for Major Developments for City West Water and will be providing a presentation on the new Servicing Requirements Assessment (SRA) application process.


    Speaker: Robert Woolley & Darren Nixon – ‘VBA Update’


    Robert is the Principal Technical Advisor (Plumbing) & Darren is the Manager, Plumbing (Inspection Services) for the Victorian Building Authority and will be providing a presentation on:

    • Update on the introduction of the revised AS/NZS 3500 series prior to the release of the PCA2022, and compliance requirements.
    • Charged storm water systems.
    • Performance solutions vs modifications.
    • Proactive inspections what are they and how do they affect plumbing.


    Speaker: Paul Galvin & Divino Fernandez – ‘Trade Waste’


    Paul is the Manager Property Development & Divino is a Technical Support Engineer for South East Water and will be providing a presentation on:

    • Trade Waste Overview.
    • Ground Water Discharge to Sewer Network – SEW Policy and Requirements.
    • Property Development issues.
